"FOLLOW YOUR PASSION."
That's a key message in Bill Boggs'
life.
Bill's passion for the "finer
things in life"--dining, travel, luxury resorts, the
lure of the road-- inspires his personal life and his
work. Actually, the two are quite intertwined.

TIDBITS
Bill began his
focus on covering the world of food on "Midday" with
a series of restaurant roundtables where
guests had lunch on live TV while being interviewed. Bill is
credited with inventing the notion of interviewing people and
eating at the same time. Bill has interviewed many of the world's leading
chefs and restaurateurs.
So far Bill has taped two "Corner Table" shows
with "Fergie," one
of his favorite guests. Bill Cosby taped the
first "Corner
Table" show as a favor to Bill and his pals who own "Ennio & Michael" restaurant
in Greenwich Village. Friends Whoopi Goldberg and Matt
Lauer did the second and third shows to help Bill get started.
Bill went directly from covering a "Showtime" Mike
Tyson Heavyweight bout in Glasgow,
Scotland, to Venice, Italy, to report on the Orient
Express Train. That production ended in Paris with Bill
eating a chocolate eclair from Fouchon in
front of the Eiffel Tower.
Bill has been a friend of the Maccioni family
that operates Le Cirque and Circo for
twenty-five years, and his report on behind the scenes at Le Cirque 2000 was
the first ever backstage look at that exclusive space. Look
for coverage of the new Le Cirque here
on the site this spring.
In addition to his work covering chefs and restaurants. Bill is a certified "Master Wine Taster."
